Research continues
Finally booked hotel for London, frds also booked for Madrid and working on Paris! I get excited about the trip everytime I do research on it, but once I get away from my research, I don’t feel so excited anymore…lol
One thing that I noticed is due to the technologies we have today, things are changing rapidly, even for like planning a trip. I never thought of using google map to pin all the locations and share with others. I find it very useful to have online collaboration tools, feels like I’m working on a project and we can share/exchange ideas at the same time.
However I was a little disappointed for London’s google map not having the 3D street view…I mean if Tokyo and NYC have it…London should also have it! hahah…

Back to normal life.
I’ve been quite productive at work lately, less emails, less unnecessary web surfing, more concentrated on my actual work. Finished side job last week, now I have to come up w/ an invoice for my boss. Also have been doing research for the Europe trip, mostly on London. Sometimes, I wish to have shorten my vacation and just go to London…lol…but of course, when its more people than urself, its always about compromise.
Somethings are being brought to my attention mostly by myself, I will have some decisions to make after I come back from the trip. Either way, I’m hoping to start a new life in November.
人生, 是一趟學習放下的旅程
想了一個下午, 以下將我想說的整理出來, 只共參考。
作為朋友, 不能為你的生活增添色彩, 反而成為你痛苦的來源, 那一刻真的覺得自己很失敗。 我會檢討之前所作的, 這刻我只能說:『抱歉, 給你添麻煩了。』
作為旁觀者, 事情的本質其實並沒這麼嚴重, 與其將事情擴大或悲觀化, 如果可以換個心態來看待一切, 讓自己心情放鬆一點, 不會更好嗎？ 人生有些執著須要堅持, 有些執著要懂得放下, 才能令自己幸福快樂。
快樂或痛苦其實也可由自己掌管。 當別人帶給你痛苦的時候, 將事情幽默化, 把不快的事情一笑置之, 令那些使你難受的人不能傷害到你, 不是比將情緒交到他人手裡來得更強嗎？
當然這些都不是容易做到的事情, 但人生就是一場上不完的課, 沒有人一生下來就懂得所有, 所以才更顯得學習的寶貴。
